The electrode is designed to create electrolytic contact with the ground in circuits for determining the effectiveness of anti-corrosion protection of underground metal structures and to ensure the operation of cathodic protection rectifiers in the mode of automatically maintaining the measured potential difference and for measuring the polarization potential of the protected structure using portable devices.
The electrode is installed permanently in the ground with conductors leading to the control and measuring point (CMP) or carpet, and can also be used as portable.
